Animate me with Your Spirit until my entire being is entranced with You, God. Warm the coolest parts of my soul with devotion that penetrates the depth of who I am. God, I want to be impassioned with a desire for holiness. Only You can set me apart in the power of Your resurrecting love. Let my heart delight in Your truth. Because the embrace of Your sovereignty is so secure, I need not fear even Your most mysterious plans. God, I trust You amidst the dangers and turmoil. I gladly wait with gratitude for the unfolding of Your eternal assignments. Let my weary eyes be open to the blessedness of Your daily presence. Make all of my expressions a reflection of You, Jesus. For it is in Your deepest affections that I want to live. It is in prayerful reverence that I want to breathe. Though the unknown extremes are set before me, I will not fear being lost to You. Your grip is so much stronger than my selfish squirming. In You, let me find rest, sweet Jesus, Savior and my everlasting Lord. What could I possibly desire besides all of You? Under the mighty Word of Psalm 37:4 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer of adoration.

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
