My God, only You can overcome my very personal corruptions. It is in the mighty power of Your grace that deliverance comes. My deepest afflictions are merely the backdrop for Your mercy. Every trial is an opportunity for me to glorify You. Every tragic situation is a chance to lean into Your comforting embrace. Even the sinfulness of my heart brings me to the depths of awareness of Your divine love. May every word rolling off my tongue honor You, Jesus. May every thought I have worshipfully adore You. For my salvation is not an abstract experience but a daily revelation that marks each eternal step I take toward home. Truly, You have done amazing things for me, Lord. Where dark and light dance in my life, lead me to focus on the light. Only You can help me see in the dark, Jesus. Spirit, be my sight now and forevermore. Truly all of earth’s woes are resolved in heaven. Though the discordant hum of despair plays, let it be muffled by the joyous melody of peace found in the beautifully eternal relationship given me in my Savior. Under the beauty of the Word in 1 John 1:5 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I sit before the altar of the great and mighty King of kings.
