Lord, You have so graciously nourished every miniscule grain of faith in my heart until it grew to a giant tree of devoted love to the divine King. Where would my emblazoned heart be if You had not first thawed my cold rebellion with fiery love from above? Truly, my heart is daily kindled in the presence of Your Holy Spirit. My hope flourishes in the face of adversity because You have claimed me as Your own. My Lord, I open my mouth wide that I might feast on the bread of life. My soul hungers for Your presence, Jesus. I gratefully rejoice that in Your power You have transformed my heart from an icy rock to one that beats in rhythm with Your holiness. Though my love in its barest form is corruptible at the core, the blessed gift of Your perfect Son, God, has given me a love so incorruptible that it produces in me the immeasurable response to love You back. Truly, Lord, I love only because You first loved me. Perfect my soul in that love, Lord Jesus. Under the wonder of the Word in 1 John 3:14 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble, adoring prayer.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other.
