My Lord, let me delight myself completely and uniquely in You. For only in that blessed space where Your majesty is revealed and the core of my inner being is quickened, can I find the remedy to my craving for happiness. There is no truer and abiding joy than that which is rooted in love for You, Jesus. Your way, though difficult in its appearance at times, is ultimately paved with eternal joy. Your truth, which is not always easy to live by, is my refuge from the storm of deception this worldly atmosphere offers. Your life is the undying source of my reason for being. Lord, let me not forget all You have done and are doing. I take each step on the peaceful path with unrestricted delight that inspires me to skip and dance behind the perfect One I follow. As long as I have You in my sight, Lord, I need not fear the road before me. For I do not follow You out of religious custom but out of loving delight which compels me to be where You are. I do not serve You begrudgingly as if to earn merit or find favor. Rather, my heart is joyously aligned with Your will and thrills to accomplish it. The faith You have given me is not compulsion. Your love, Jesus, is not bondage. Your hope is not heavy. Let such joy and delight be the jewels in my crown of faithful love for my Savior, a crown I will one day delightfully cast at Your feet. Under the beauty of the Word in Revelation 4:10-11 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in prayer.

They will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things.”
