Forgive me, Lord God, for the long ramblings of elaborations when I am pouring out my heart to You. Truly smaller phrases of prayer are as impactful as the copious words I often envelope myself in. “Come Lord Jesus.” In the midst of the perception of my loneliness You are near. Let me not forget. “Save me Lord.” When I am tired in my belief, Lord God, open Your Word within my heart so that my faith is girded. “Teach me Spirit.” When I have missed the understanding, only Your wisdom can pull me from the pit of ignorant distractions. “Help me Lord.” I send to the throne for reinforcements when my inward conflicts challenge my warrior stance in the Kingdom. “I love You Lord.” Let me succinctly express my devotion Lord Jesus. In doubt and fear I will lift up simple supplications throughout my day. Whether I suffer or labor, rejoice or lament, speak or remain quiet, let my heart hold fast to these prayerful phrases. Your beloved stands upon Your promise Lord: “Fear not for I will help you.” Under the Word given in Isaiah 41:10 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10, NIV
