I need You to love me, my King. My desire for Your presence consumes my soul to the point of longing. For You are the most High God in whom I find protection from all that threatens me. Gracious LORD, only You can deliver me from everything that pursues me. With wisdom You guide my wandering heart. With such tenderness, You make my feet to walk upon the straight and narrow path. My heart is turned toward You, Jesus. My soul is remade by the faith I have in my LORD, my God. How could eternal life be the destination for this journey? For I was on a path to nowhere until I met You, Jesus. O LORD, keep my eyes from looking at anything but You. Let me not try to see the road ahead but instead turn my gaze upon You as You lead me upon the path You have chosen. My LORD, You are glorious. You are good. You are worthy. Grant me intimate knowledge of You so that I am one with Your heart, O God. Sanctify me as only You can do so that I may be beautifully blameless in Your sight. Let my soul be as pure as a spotless, white lily. Let my heart be as deep as a scarlet, red rose. Your peace is the only thing that guards my heart from life’s chaos. How I thank You that You have granted me Your salvation through the channels of love. Your love is so deep that I scarcely understand it. Your love is so pure that I do not deserve it. Yet there You are, standing before me as I gaze in awe and gratitude at this overwhelming love that quiets my soul. Under the Word of Colossians 1:21-23 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,  He has now reconciled in His body of flesh by His death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before Him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard.
