My heart is astonished by You, my LORD! My soul is dazzled by Your love! How beautiful is the LORD our God, for He is holy. His ways are pure and His heart is just. O that my feeble heart would collide with Yours, my King, so that it beats in unison with Your will. I am overcome with gratitude; for my God has seen fit to look upon me with favor. My God has restored me from a life of brokenness and rebellion. In my unbelief I felt so utterly alone. But now, in Christ, I am finally made whole. Every breeze reminds me of His tenderness, every sunrise of His promises. In the trials of life I am reminded of His sacrifice. And in the depths of pain I am reminded of His comfort. When the birds sing, I am reminded of the joy made complete in Christ. In the changing of the seasons, I remember that this is not my home. For my winter on earth will one day blossom into spring in heaven. My Savior is on His way. He will rescue my heart from the battle with our enemy. For He has defeated death and granted me victory in life. What astonishing love is this that takes me into the deep. What dazzling grace that washes away my stains, making me new. O Holy LORD, how I adore You. Let me bow before Your majesty in humble adoration for our eternity. Let me never forget all You have done even as I am reminded of all that You are doing. Under the mighty Word of truth in Psalm 57:7-8 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in adoring prayer.
