Build up the wholeness of my hope on nothing less than You, Jesus. Satisfy the fullest measure of my love in all of who You are. Break the shackle of concern over the opinions of this world until I am free to walk in the freedom of pleasing You. Lord, do not let my vexatious ambitions come between us. Trample down the barrier erected by expectations of blessing and fear of wrath. Teach me to follow diligently the way You have set before me. Only then can I be made fit to represent Your Kingdom in whatever field You have chosen to plant me. Take care upon Your church, Lord. Reveal to me my place within its body. My need of Your lessons is profuse in its desperation and sincere in its faith. Reveal to me Your power to shine light through me, Lord. Make me a transparent vessel of Your grace and love in a world darkened by corruption and blinded by greed. Under the mighty Word of the Lord in Psalm 70:4 and the authority of Christ Jesus I come to the altar in prayer.

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You.
Let those who love Your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted!”
