Lord God, You are the same today and yesterday and forever. How my soul delights in Your unchanging nature. Your perfection is majestic and Your Word is foundational. Let my heart be built on nothing less. Let my soul be amazed by nothing else. No other god will steal my focus away because there is none like You, my mighty King. When my provision has been frozen as in the death of winter, the warm breath of Your providence keeps me satisfied. When life trials scorch my heart, it is Your presence that soothes my relational burns like a balm of holiness. Thank You Jesus for the cooling influence, Your fires of refining power which shape me into who You want me to become. Great are You, God Almighty, who leads Your beloved beside still waters. You, in whose presence my soul shall not know want. You, who are never changing, always faithful and true to Your Word. Let me drink of Your infinite love until it spills over into the lives of others. Make me a blessing Lord God. Make me a vessel filled with the contents of Your magnificent Spirit of holiness. Under the mighty Word given in Isaiah 46:9-10 and the blessed authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.
