Weave me into a song of divine grace, Lord God Almighty. Take my hand and pull me across the threshold of this present calamity into the sweet repose of reflective worship. Your presence exhilarates me with holy remembrance. For You have not abandoned the one You love. The veracity of Your promises has been a shimmering cloud over my life. For it was Your mighty hand that parted the waters threatening me long ago. Lord, You are my deliverer. It was Your mighty presence that shielded me from the traps of temptation set by the enemy. Lord, You are my defender. Your strength walked me through adversity’s fire. Your Spirit led me over that mountainous terrain, opened my deafened ears to Your voice, and awakened my eyes to Your majesty. Oh, what lavish bounty has already been bestowed upon me in this sojourning life. In this abiding love I share with You, Jesus, I need not be afraid of what I now face. Surely Your goodness and mercy goes before me, Father God. Take my trembling hand and walk me once again through this present calamity so that You may be glorified. In You my trust is secured. Under the mighty Word of God in 2 Kings 17:39 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
