My Lord, distinguish this life You have granted me by marking it with holiness. May the indwelling power of Your Spirit drive out all defilement. Draw me out from the confining boundaries of ungodliness as You separate Your servant to Yourself. My adoring soul could not bear Your reproach. Truly to live is Christ. Truly the light shines through the clouds of shame, radiating rays of forgiveness that glorifies my Maker. Look past my outward ceremonial religion, Lord God, and draw me into deeper revelation of who You truly are. I want more than superficial acceptance, than daily blessings, than miracles fit for this world alone. I want all of You, Jesus. At one time I was quietly undisturbed in my darkness, but when You pierced that existence with Your light of salvation great conflict ensued. The pull of light and truth battled with the gravity of darkness and deceit until You stood in the gap breaking sin’s grip on me. Thank You Lord for Your almighty passion which vanquishes all personal ambitions. Complete surrender to Your Lordship made me a child of the day, separated eternally from darkness. Under the Word of the Lord in Psalm 29:1-2 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in humble prayer.

Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings;
    honor the Lord for His glory and strength.

    Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.
