Here I sit in the silence, awaiting the sound of Your voice. I come before the LORD, my God, in a posture of humility. For He inspires awe in my soul. O God, holy and just, truth and life, I am desperate for Your presence. Look upon the lowly estate of Your servant, O LORD, and rescue me. For I cannot save myself. Jesus, I will wait for You in holy expectation as Your bride. Oh, how my heart does thrill at knowing I am Your beloved. Your love is the only food I need, for You are the bread of life. Your light is the only guide I need, for You Jesus are the way. When all around me is a cacophony of noise and chaos, enable me to find You in the quiet places. I will search for You, my LORD, even when distractions consume me. I will seek You with all of my heart because I belong to You. My only desire is to reach for Your outstretched hand and never let go. Hold me in the midst of the storm for You, O God, are my shelter. Lead me along the straight and narrow path for You, my LORD, know my way. Tender my heart that I might feel Your love with me always. Cleanse me from the stains this world has inflicted upon me. For I will rejoice in silent revelry as the sound of Your voice soothes my aching heart and breathes life to my empty soul. Under the Word of God in Psalm 41:11-13 and the authority of Christ I bow in prayer.

By this I know that You delight in me:
    my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
But You have upheld me because of my integrity,
    and set me in Your presence forever.
