O LORD, my God, my Sovereign King, You are completely unfair in Your exchanges with me. I gave You doubt; You gave me mercy. I gave You parts of me; You gave me all of You. I gave You fear; You gave me faith. I gave You brokenness; You gave me healing. I gave You confusion; You gave me understanding. My Savior, my LORD, where would I be without You? You gave me redemption in exchange for the debt I could never repay. You gave me forgiveness for the hurt I inflicted. You gave me strength when all I offered You was weakness. You gave me light when I was lost in darkness. You gave me a way when there was no way for me. You gave me truth when I finally handed over the lies. Jesus, You are the only thing I need! When I gave You my broken heart, You replaced it with Your perfect heart. When I gave You my unbelief, You replaced it with faith. When I gave You my soul, You washed it clean in Your blood. When I gave You my self, You gave me Your sacrifice. When I gave You nothing, You gave me your love! Thank You, my LORD, for being unfair in Your exchanges so that I would not be lost; so that I would not be lacking the only thing I need –You. Under the blessed Word of Luke 23:33-34 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in humble prayer.
