Lord God Almighty, Your Name is holy and highly exalted in my heart. Only You can restore the flawless image which has been so marred by sin. Only You can fully remove the stains of my iniquity until I am whole again. Lord, take my splintered soul into Your divine workshop where a carpenter’s hand sets to work the remodel of my inner being. Let me rejoice in the saving love that lights up my darkness. Let my days honor the sacrifice of my King. Overflow my weary heart with grateful worship that chases away the sorrows of worldly existence. Jesus, in You I find my rest. In You I find the path to my image-bearing potential. By You I am revived, restored and resurrected to new life. Show me how to bless the Name of my Lord today, tomorrow and always. Under the wonder of Isaiah 1:18-19 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in grateful prayer.
“Come now, and let us debate your case,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall become as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land.”
Isaiah 1:18-19, NASB
Jesus, in You I find my rest–Amen!
