Carry me through the twilight of my soul, Lord Jesus. Only You can get me to the other side of present darkness. You are the opener of eyes that have remained shut to truth for far too long. You are both King and merciful Savior. Wisdom and knowledge are Your treasures to give. Your beloved delights to drink from the fountain of Your bounty. Let my heart no longer be influenced by anything except You, Lord. Even in the dark nights, Your nearness assures me that dawn is on the horizon. For the Lord Almighty revives the weary. He restores the lost and quenches the thirst of the most parched soul. Fill my adoring heart with gratitude for Your endless supply of all that I need. Lord, put a song in my heart that matches the delight I have in You. May the discordant melodies be silenced by the praise even when my soul is troubled within me. Praise You, God, that You are never changing and Your divine love knows no boundary. Lay up in my heart every precious and wondrous truth until I am strengthened in Christ once again. Under the Word of majesty in Job 22:21-23 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Agree with God, and be at peace;
    thereby good will come to you.
Receive instruction from His mouth,
    and lay up His words in your heart.
If you return to the Almighty you will be built up;
    if you remove injustice far from your tents.
