My Father in heaven, I bow within the brightness of Your all-surpassing holiness. Expose my will to the warmth of Your love. I come to You, Spirit of the Living God, because my ignorance needs to be purified by Your wisdom. Jesus, You are the One who revived my weary soul. Take every good desire within me and douse it with living water until it blooms, giving off the fragrance of Your mighty Kingdom. May every imperfection still lingering within me be awash with Your perfect presence. Only You can start the holy fire of divine passion burning in me. Where there is darkness, You bring enlightenment. Where there is chaos, You bring peace. Where doubt has festered too long, You have replaced it with assurance. Chisel the innermost parts of me until I am most like You, Jesus. In my meditations on Your Word show me the beauty of Yourself, Lord; beauty I aspire to even if I have far to go. For You have given me all that I need to become all that You destined. Increase my love Lord, and in so doing manifest my faith in You through action, word and deed. Let me take on every new challenge in life, eager to become more like You through experience. I humbly bow to the illumination of Your teaching in whatever form it may come. Under the Word of truth and majesty in Galatians 6:9 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
