Lord, I bow before You in prayer’s intimate room. May the sighs and murmurs of my heart reach Your holy ears. The doubts that vex me, the fears that haunt me, are no match for Your divine love. Center my thoughts around truth until the shadows of deception are chased back into the realm of Sheol. Remember, my soul, that with God all things are possible. So when I look at the looming mountain from the floor of the valley, give me strength Lord to keep moving forward no matter how treacherous the climb. Let the words of belief fall from my tongue, saying to the mountain move; and knowing in Your Name it will be done. Gift me with endurance that stands strong through tribulation, Lord. Gift me with zeal to serve You wherever needed. Gift me with wisdom and discernment to further the cause and purposes of Your heart, Father. Only Your love can raise me up from the ashes of carnal existence to the holy dignity of my true position in Christ. So I come to the throne in the intimacy of prayer, cloaked with the assurance of faith. Clouds of iniquity may hover over me, but let them be blown away by the breath of my abiding belief in my beloved Savior. With Him nothing is impossible. I do not need to understand when You have asked only that I believe. Under the Word of power in Luke 8:50 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe.”
