My Lord, Your love pursues with the ferocity of a celestial stallion possessing eternal endurance. Your faithfulness stretches beyond the horizon of a single life, of multiple generations and across the boundary of time itself. Armed with divine power, You have saved Your beloved from the enemy’s snapping jaws. When I am in grave danger of yielding to the culprit of tempting allurement, You remind me that I am Yours. The holiness of Your preservation astounds me. The majesty of Your grace quickens my tumultuous heart. Truly, the gratitude expressed is far less than You deserve Lord. Despite my shortcomings, You desire the secret places and the innermost crevices of my soul. Take me there, Lord. Take me into the depths where I have feared to tread on my own. But with You there is hope. With You, darkness is as light. Rough edges are smoothed. Uneven ground becomes level again. I dare not take a single step without my hand in Yours, Jesus. Wisdom implores me not to speak unless my words first pass through the holy filter of Your Spirit in my heart. Continue our journey into the holiness of Your presence. I have far to go, Lord, but I delight in every step I take with You. Under the Word of truth given in Isaiah 43:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have called you by name, you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
    and the flame shall not consume you.
For I am the Lord your God,
