Today’s Prayer

Lord, may every movement I make propel me in the direction of a fuller sense of Your incorruptible love. Whether peace or trouble stirs up the wind of circumstance, You are with me. When life feels as if it has been turned upside down, I am reminded that the sifting process is heavenly ordained. If my times are light or dark, full of temptation or tranquility, may each moment be lived to Your glory. For there will be days when my heart feels scorched by the heat of adversity; and there will be seasons when I am refreshed by the celestial dew of blessings. No matter what portion of Your story I find myself living, Lord, let me live it in the strength and mercy of Your abiding Spirit. Point me to Your love. Remind me of Your goodness. Refine me in Your likeness. Neither miry tribulations nor vain devotion or spiritual dryness will corrupt the love You have for those belonging to You because Your love is far greater than my folly and shortcomings. With absolute abandon, let me hold fast to the conviction that I belong to You, Jesus, and that You are my King. It is the power of Your perfect love which serves as the counterweight to my soul, keeping me in holy balance despite the instability of life’s ever-changing circumstances. Becoming one with Your spirit steadies me with firm determination that renders worldly winds impotent to carry me away on breezes of carnal temptation. Jesus, You are and always will be my consolation and my salvation. Under the Word of truth in John 11:25-26 and the authority of Christ Jesus I blow in humble prayer.

Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-26, AMP
