How deep is the love of Your servant, O LORD my God and my King! How precious to me that You hear the whispering prayers of my aching heart. I am blessed because the LORD cups His mighty hand around His ear to listen for me. Even when life’s circumstances terrify me, I know that I will be rescued. When it appears as if the path before me is filled with trouble and sorrow, I can call out to my Savior. Jesus, how tender is Your mercy, how kind is Your heart. You have protected me from my enemies. You have saved me from my self. With You always by my side, my soul is content to rest. For I know that even death is no match for You, my victorious King. For I know that my tears will be wiped away by Your compassionate hand. My feet will not stumble nor my heart lead me astray because I follow Jesus. How blessed is the one who walks through life in the presence of the LORD. How blessed to know that whatever trouble threatens me, I am safe because God is my refuge. What can I present to You, my King, for all that You have done for me? Though I am poor and needy, I will lift up my heart to You. For You are the only One who can put it back together. You are the only One who can keep my heart safe. I will praise the LORD, my God, for He cares deeply and loves intensely. Your voice is precious to my soul. Your voice heals and gives life. Your deep and perfect love is the desire of my heart. I am Your servant, O LORD. Blessed are those who are covered by His Name. Under the Word of truth in Psalm 18:16-18 and the authority of Christ I bow in prayer.
