Lord God, manifest Your Spirit of truth throughout the most minuscule aspects of my life. Every detail matters to You, Lord. So let it matter to me too. Teach me to abide in Christ in a way that glorifies the Good News of You abiding in me. For Your people have been brought out of darkness and into the light. Therefore, let that light shine before the world, unfiltered by selfish conceit and vain contradictions. Reveal to Your servant any hypocrisy lurking in the shadows of my blind-spots. Lord, I want to be transparently set apart for Your Kingdom and Your great Name. Make each word falling from my lips a testimony of my relationship with You. Make my presence both comforting and guiding as other souls search for the way out of the dark. Enable me to wield the Word of life with love and grace that points directly into Your heart, God. For there are too many false lights that distract and blind those dwelling in this world – the light of materialism or fame or pleasure. Set Your servants as lighthouses upon the shoal of destruction, beacons of the light of the truth of the gospel, so that vessels precious to You do not crash upon the rocky shores of sin in such a way that they irretrievably perish. My Jesus, abide in me now and always while teaching me to reciprocate with love. Under the mighty Word of God given so graciously in John 8:12 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.
