Separate me, Lord God Almighty, both from without and from within. Take Your beloved to a new level of holy living. Separate the dark from the light in me with the winnowing fork of Your Word. Lift up all that is false and deceived within my soul until the holy breath of Your love blows it away like chaff on the wind. Let my daily mantra be – ‘To Live is Christ!’ Empower me, Spirit of the Living God, to do all to the glory of my Savior – all eating, drinking, talking, being. My soul’s aim is to be rich in faith even if the poverty of the world overshadows me. Show me, Lord Jesus, what it means to store up my treasure with You and in You. When I seek pleasure, let it be the joy that comes from worshipping You. Set me apart from the fleeting pleasures of this world as I find delight in You alone, Lord. Grant me an awareness of Your presence that challenges my impatience in prayer. Too often I make my petitions with a secret timeline, weighing them down, making them heavier than need be as they float to Your throne room. And too often I blame You for the delay in answering them when my own attaching agenda is the culprit slowing everything down. Let it not be so, Lord. Separate me from my personal agenda until my own will is neutral and I am fully submissive to Yours. Jesus, separate me into You because only You can quicken or slow my steps in this journey of life. Only You can keep me in perfect peace with my God. Under the beauty of the Word given in 1 Peter1:3-5 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
