My sweet and tender Savior, protect Your beloved from the one who hunts my soul. Cover me with the intensity of Your love so that the flaming arrows of the enemy are extinguished completely. Call out to the potential of my soul which radiates the powerful light of grace to vanquish all condemnation because I am a child of Christ. The claim upon my heart belongs to You, Jesus, and only You. Enable me to walk in truth, rest in Your promises and rise up in the power of Your Holy Spirit. Nothing is impossible for You, my resurrected King. This present darkness will not cast a permanent shadow over my heart for the light of the hope of Christ is the truth which keeps my heart beating in the rhythm of grace. Under the blessing of Colossians 3:3-4 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers as incense before You, O God.
