How great is Your love, Lord God. How perpetual is the grace bestowed upon Your lowly servant! That I should be designated Your beloved is too lofty a concept for me to grasp. Forgive me, Lord God, for my consistent focus on my failings because it hinders me from living in the totality of Your grace. My own self-awareness inhibits my ability to thrive as Your beloved in that space where fear does not reside. Truly, You have chosen me to be a child of God. You have displayed the intensity of Your love on the cross. You have redefined who I am. So let me choose to live by faith and not by self-pity. Let me display reciprocal love for my Savior no matter how unworthy I feel. Let me believe I am who You made me to be. For nothing but Your insurmountable love could have saved me, transformed me and called me Your own. Bring me to life in the Spirit that allows me to carry out each day in the sweetness of Your holy love. Under the Word of God in Psalm 25:14-15 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer. Amen.
