Lord, I thank You for the stillness of Your presence which reminds me that I am safe beneath the canopy of Your sovereignty. So let my heart embrace the silent waiting periods holy designated to strengthen my trust in You. Lord Jesus, You are the One to chase away shadows by lighting the eternal lamp of hope within my soul. Truly Lord, chisel me until I am Your radiant temple, a vessel of mercy and grace. Grant Your servant the power to lay aside encumbrances of sin and entanglements of carnal desire. Let me seek Your face Lord and turn from wickedness, counting every trial as a blessing meant to create the endurance fitting one called by Your Name. Enlighten my heart’s eyes to see You, my impoverished soul to know You, and my entire being to love You for who You are and not only for the rich inheritance You have granted me in Christ. I want to lead a life of abiding in You, Jesus. Under the mighty Word of God given in Ephesians 2:8-9 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
