Lord my God, when my soul is in mourning because of my very little faith, it is Your presence that comforts me. When I realize how feeble my love is, I find consolation in the truth Your Word gives me. For You loved me first. Let my heart rejoice that I am covered in the blood of Christ, my Savior, no matter how deep are the iniquities that plague me. Jesus, thank You for the gracious choice You made in me, Your servant. Let my soul praise Your work in humble gratitude. Your incorruptible love has given me a glimpse of the precious gems of my eternal inheritance. Let my faith, no matter how big or small, not be a measure but an emblem of my covenant with You. I may be the tiniest star on this world’s dark canvas, but the point is to shine regardless of the size or potency of the light. It is not my name that matters, only where it is written – in Your book of life. So let me find refuge in Your tender assurance, my Lord. With my little faith and inadequate love I come to the feet of the One who truly defines me. Under the blessed assurance of Luke 10:20 and the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ I bow in prayer.

Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
