Lord, let me walk closely with You. May each step I take be in the footprint of the Spirit. Manifest the intimate acquaintance I share with You in my inmost being by the way my faith is walked out in this life. That which You teach me in the secret place, let me carry into the darkness of this world. You are my source, Jesus. My hope, love, joy and grace are gifts from Your beautiful hands. Grant perseverance to my walk, Lord. When the circumstantial path is treacherous, let my perpetual assistance from You become my strength. Lord, let my walk be authentic. I do not wish to stray from Your side even for a moment. Shield my eyes from the worldly enticements that promise a shortcut but only lead to death. I want to be Yours and remain Yours, Lord. Even as I walk through the valley of death’s shadow, I find comfort in Your nearness. Your servant is grateful not to walk alone. Under the mighty truth of the Word of God found in Matthew 10:27 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in adoring prayer.
