My Lord, when my heart is put to the test through fiery trials and flooding tribulation, grant me both shield and boat in Your presence. Sometimes my mind feels shattered with overwhelming misapprehensions, Lord. I cannot always make sense of happenings around me. But You are the truth that anchors me regardless of how intense the storm of deception becomes. Your steadfast, unyielding love is the rock always upon the horizon big enough for my soul to see when I lift my eyes in faith. Lord, keep Your servant moving forward to that horizon line of eternity. Move my feet in strength even when I am battle-weary. Keep my heart in peace even when the world around me is chaos. Love my soul to transformation which likens me to You, Jesus. I trust in You with unwavering devotion for You, Jesus, are my King. Under the Word of truth given so graciously in Proverbs 3:5-6 and the authority of Christ my Savior I humbly bow in prayer.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
