As beings created by the tender fingertips of a loving God, we were designed for love. Some spend a lifetime trying to figure out what that means. Others, content with the superficial definition shackled by human emotion, spend a lifetime missing the depth it offers. One path can feel like an endless search. The other a perpetual squashing.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
