My heavenly Father and Lord of life, I come to You for the holy nourishment of truth divine. Let every morsel be planted deep in the soil of my parched and barren heart until the roots grow and the resulting foliage is the image of Your likeness. Infuse the dark crevices with ethereal light that radiates in loving acts and kind words. Make me a vessel, Lord Jesus. Truly, I am a mere apprentice to Your divine authority. Teach Your servant the faithfulness of full obedience, the blessing of humility and the reverence of godly living. Refine my thoughts and attitudes within the fiery light of Your ultimate purity Lord. Let the blinded eyes marvel in the majesty of Your authority and grace. Word of God, speak in power to renew minds, sanctify souls and transform hearts. Enable Your loved ones to grasp the height of truth from which we have fallen. Truth unchanging and echoing across the chasm of both past and future is the single nourishment my hungry soul craves. Lord of my heart, upon Your promises I stand and in Your grace I find my solace. Under the Word given in Psalm 45:1, 6-7 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in prayer.

My heart is moved with a good theme;

Your throne, God, is forever and ever;
The scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice.
