God Almighty, I come before You defenseless and without excuse. I am desperate for the refuge of Your grace and the shelter of Your divine love. My enemies are encroaching and my rebellious feet have grown weary running away. Let me turn and come home to You whom my soul adores. I am weak, Lord, and exposed to the perils of deception without the encompassing favor of Your truth. You are my security Jesus. You are my hope. It is well with my soul because You can hide my infirmities within the enveloping mercy of Your glorious attributes. The cruel condemnation of enemy arrows cannot penetrate the shield of salvation which You have placed in front of my vulnerable soul, Lord. Let my heart carry me now into Your heart, Jesus, where I find the true blessedness of trust no matter what my present grief looks like. Jesus, You are my sorrow lifter and my safe haven. In grateful prayer I bow before You with my back to the enemy because I know that Your love surrounds me in defense. You are my hiding place. Jesus, You are my rock. Under the mighty truth of the Word found in Psalm 32:6-7 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found;
Certainly in a flood of great waters, they will not reach him.
You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble;
You surround me with songs of deliverance.
