My Lord and Prince of peace, open the vessels of hope from Your Spirit to mine. For You have called me Your own, Jesus. By the gift of faith, hope is possessed in its entirety. For Your poured out love fills every crevice of my languishing heart. Jesus, Your nearness floods the atmosphere of my thoughts with joy, peace and truth in believing wonderment. Make this a year of increased dazzle and delight because I pursue You above all things. Your presence, God, makes hope abound and thrills my soul with a sense of worth heretofore lacking. It was Your unfathomable desire to birth me in Spirit, Lord, by this hope fueled in the resurrection power of my Savior. How shall I praise You for such an immeasurable gift? How shall I live in the exuberance of Your love, Lord God? Let your beloved sing praises with the joy of salvation. Let me remain patient in tribulation and trusting in seasons of suffering. Preserve me in integrity and uprightness when temptation traps me, Lord. In hope I await Your rescue through life’s perpetual storms. In hope I trust Your perfect timing. In hope I am strengthened to resist fleshly weakness. May this weary soul of mine wait in hope that rejoices because of love divine, in hope that breathes new life in holy devotion. In this hope let Your beloved rejoice in salvation and await Your glory. Under the mighty Word of God in Psalm 62:1-2, 5 and the authority of Christ Jesus I bow in prayer.
