Lord, speak with holy intent until the deafened ears of my soul perk up and listen. Your Words are life. The revelation of Your heart is both breath-taking and life-giving. Only Your Spirit within me can grant me the understanding that aligns me with Your will and purpose. Meet me, Lord, on the pages of Your powerful testaments. For You have given us the old as a blueprint for the new. You prepared with a promise and fulfilled it in Your Son. My heart and mind delight to meditate on my Savior. With gratitude I approach the preservation of His time on earth as presented in the gospels. With teachability I grapple with the lofty truth set down in the epistles. With submission and respect I wander through the revelation. Let me wait for the final fulfillment, Lord. For You have gloriously wooed Your people. Your love was written, spoken and revealed. Your love was born, died and rose again. Your love is coming again. Let me wait with holy intent until I hear You declare, ‘It is finished!’ Under the mighty truth of God revealed in Revelation 22:12-13 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in prayer.

Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with Me, to repay to each man according to his work.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
