Every indwelling question of my soul finds its answer in You, my Lord and my God. When distress tangles up the fibers of my being, Your tender fingertips of divine grace unravel the knots so that the Spirit is not constricted. Improve the magnitude of my faith, Lord. Turn my eyes away from the delusions this world constantly entices me with. My will is weak, but in You I find the strength I need to resist the deception that stretches out like a pit before me. The path You have placed me on has been made level through the love of Your sacrifice. Keep my steps steady and energized by Your Spirit. I invite You, Lord, to examine the contents of my heart by turning it inside out until all things which hinder my walk with You are emptied and removed. Leave only righteousness and holiness where selfishness and unbelief resided. Cast all my unworthy traits into the pit, Lord, while I walk over in safety, never to pick them up again. Prosper my heart with the joy of Your presence. Cultivate my soul to create eternal fruit that glorifies Your Name. Let me lie down in peace because I am safe with You, Jesus. Because of Your love, it is well with my soul. Under the mighty Word of God in 2 Corinthians 1:20 and the authority of Jesus Christ, I bow in humble prayer.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
