Stir me with fervency and zeal for Your Name, Lord. I am far too prone to give sluggish responses to spiritual prompting. Quicken my heart, Lord. Draw me to empty my soul through vehement pleadings and holy petitions. Unite me with Your will in relentless prayer. Remind me to whom I belong. Teach me to let my thoughts not merely linger but holy dwell on those who are perishing. What an honor to be called to intercession! Where would I be without Your intercession for me, Lord? Inspire my motives with zealous intent to align wholeheartedly with Your will. Raise my hope to see beyond the temporal and into the eternal. Set my face heavenward as You warm me with thoughts of eternal bliss and forever worship. Bring me to the cross repeatedly so that I may kneel before Your love in gratitude that transforms and softens me. The path of deceit is no longer my way. You are my way, Jesus. Take me to Yourself and make Your servant whole again. Under the Word given and received in Romans 8:34 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow in adoring prayer.
Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Romans 8:34, NIV
