Lord, nothing is impossible for You. Nothing is out of the reach of Your mighty arms. Though my inclination is to boast of my abilities, in Your presence I am humbled. The majesty of the heavens remind me of my infinitesimally small place in the universe You created. The seasons ebb and flow at Your command. Storms rage or cease according to divine appointment. And when Your Spirit delights my soul, there is no power on earth which can disturb such joy. The cunning schemes of the enemy cannot dim the light You have set aflame within my heart, Lord Jesus. A tempest of sorrows may assail me, but Your presence and Your voice becomes my calming revival. Arrows of ridicule may be lobbed my way, but the shield of faith You have given me truly douses any flaming, malicious intent. You alone determine the length of my winter seasons, Lord. You alone bring my soul into the venerable joys of spring. My power to be effective is limited by my own weaknesses. But You, my Savior, raise my soul out of the pit of dullness. You overcome the shadow of death by bringing me into the light. Truly, all things are possible when I am with You, Lord Jesus. Let me delight in Your celestial influence as the effervescent majesty of Your love awakens all that has fallen asleep within me. I suffer often from the trials of temptation that bring clouds to the springtime. But let there be a harvest of grace which lightens my countenance and reflects the powerful light of my God and King. The One who can and will do all things for good. Under the mighty Word of the Lord in Romans 8:27-28 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
