Today’s Prayer 4/18

In awe-struck wonder, I will gaze upon You, O God Almighty, for Your beauty is stunning to behold. Let the grace of Your heart as evidenced in every drop of blood from the cross splash into my own soul, cleansing me of unrighteousness. Overshadow me with Your Holy Spirit for I am in need of love. Help me stop chasing the mirage this world entices me with because I have found the living water in Christ. My heart falls to its knees so my lost soul can be found. Put me where You want me to be, Lord. Take me where You desire me to go, Jesus. Let me sing Your praise until the deep wounds of my heart bleed again because then the healing balm of truth can stitch up what has been torn apart. In the shadow of Your awesome beauty, I cling to the glimmer of grace that allows me to reflect the love of Jesus now and always. Under the truth of Your Word in Galatians 2:20 and the blessed authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers as incense before You, O God.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live,
but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20, ESV
