Blessed be Your Holy Name, my Father in heaven. Draw up next to Your trusted servant as I face every challenge in life. Be my rock, my refuge, and my fortress when the aches of my heart are too much to bear. Help me to be still and quietly wait in the understanding that You are my God who fights my battles. You are my Lord who has set me free. Solidify my faith, Lord, until You become my soft landing every time I fall. With Your strength infused into me, let me get back up on my feet even when the pain of life pushes me down. Open my eyes to the hope of eternity where joy resides. Light me up from the inside-out as I give more power to Your Spirit in me and less to my own selfish desire. Awaken my sleepy faith, Lord, so that the fiery flame of divine love burns bright again. Under the mighty Word of Romans 5:3-5 and the authority of Christ, King of Kings, these prayers are lifted high.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings,
knowing that suffering produces endurance,
and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
and hope does not put us to shame,
because God’s love has been poured into our hearts
through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Romans 5:3-5, ESV
