My Lord, I invite You to the center of my heart. Cast out all peripheral distractions as Your Spirit rules my thoughts and emotions. Lead me in the lifelong walk with Your Spirit, Lord. Indwell me, direct me, and teach me so that I might be empowered by Your holiness. Give me breath to live within the flood waters of the truth of Your Word. Take me into the sacred until the essence of my being is saturated with Your wisdom. Keep the awareness of Your nearness ever before me, Jesus. May my thoughts not be soiled to the point of driving You away, Lord. May my actions not betray the love affair I have with the Creator of my soul. Forgive me of the fluctuations of my human emotions which toss me around a tempestuous sea of reactions to various situations. Jesus, You are the anchor for my soul. You are the mystery that keeps my faith perpetually cheerful as I abide in the joy of salvation. Under the canopy of truth in Your Word of Colossians 1:26-27 and the authority of my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, I pray.

The mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints. 
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles
are the riches of the glory of this mystery,
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
