Lead me, my Lord and King, to the wells which You have strategically placed along this sorrowful road taking me to heaven. My heart thirsts for something more than this world offers. Only You can fill my emptiness, Jesus. My cavernous soul is in need of Your filling, Holy Spirit. My thoughts are crying out for Your mighty guard. Lord, take me higher than this mountain which stands before me. Let me see from Your perspective because my own is so limited. My heart glories in Your salvation. My soul drinks in the promises given. Upon this rock, let me sing Your praise. From this holy hill, Lord of all, I will be still because I know that You are my God. In melodic adoration from the depths of my being, I sing out from beneath the clouds that block my view. In the glorious Word of Psalm 7:17 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I whole-heartedly pray.
I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His righteousness,
and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.
Psalm 7:17, ESV
