Holy Spirit of the living God, let me not neglect the adoration due You. Lead me away from unintended slights toward the One my heart adores by keeping me ever mindful of Your presence, ever thirsting for more holiness in my life. I need Your indwelling Spirit to empower me, Lord, because I am weak and prone to frailty. Bear with my waywardness because your grace is my shield. Spirit, provoke the inner workings of my mind with good thoughts pleasing to the Lord. Move my feet to action befitting the faith residing within me. Strive with my rebellious will until it is all but vanquished. Reign in me upon the throne of a heart submitted to Christ. You are everything good. You are my guide. You are my instructor. Let my soul yield to Your powerful presence within as You influence me with the goodness and holiness of my Lord. Under the power and majesty of Your Word in 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
