In holy astonishment, I come before Your chambers veiled in prayer, my Lord and King. Your surpassing grace which reached into the miry depths of humanity’s filth has saved me. As I aimlessly meandered in a labyrinth of my own selfishness, Your love showed me the way out. Though my soul was desperately lost, You sought me out, Jesus. Let my heart forever adore You in praise. When I was hidden beneath the gloom of rebellion, Your eyes of mercy still saw me. How amazing is the mighty grace that could keep track of my devious wanderings. I find Your ways strangely marvelous and utterly romantic, Lord. You have wooed me by Your Word. You have not cast me aside in disgrace. Lord, I lift up my praying heart in wonder and awe beneath the canopy of Your Sovereign love and matchless holiness. Help me live beneath the banner of Your love, Jesus. Under the mighty Word of Song of Solomon 2:3-4 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
