Sweet and precious Savior, hide me within the cloak of Your righteousness. Shield me from constant focus on my own iniquity so that I may live in the joy of Your forgiveness. Reign over me and in me, Holy Spirit. Direct my steps so that I am perpetually following the light of Christ. I lift up the shattered pieces of my heart because only You can put me back together, God. Only Your fingers know the master design with which I was created. Only Your heart knows the purpose for which new life was given me. Lead me toward the destination of Your will. Equip me to fulfill the tasks designated before time began. Make every breath a vapor of praise. Make every word a syllable of worship. My God, You are worthy. My God, You are love. Draw me into that secret place where love abides, where peace reigns and where all chains of iniquity are shattered so that the one You love can walk in freedom toward Your beautiful heart. Under the Word of truth in Romans 6:4 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
