Keep my gaze fixated upon Your holiness, my God. Draw me into Yourself until all of my mistakes are folded into the mighty purpose of Your glory. Let the multitude of desires warring within me find a focal point of peace by settling on You, Jesus. When my wants entice me to wander, pull me back within the borders of Your truth. When my emptiness convinces me to take, let the conviction of Your Spirit inspire me to give it all away. Though problems abound in my life, no storm can threaten me because my refuge is in Christ. Though constant battles weary me, my energy is supplied in the knowledge that victory belongs to my God. Lord, do not let my hand slip out of Yours as I sojourn through this life, no matter how much I try to pull away. Your grace is so much stronger. Under the Word of truth in Psalm 91:9-10, 14-15 and the blessed authority of Christ, I pray.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name.
He will call on Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.”
Psalm 91:9-10, 14-15, NIV
