God, my Savior, let me rest in the beautiful shade of Your salvation. When my emotions build like a storm within me, only You can calm the wind of anger and the waves of offense. Holy Spirit, enable me to live at peace with everyone. Lord, let me honor Your great Name in the words I speak and the actions that I take. Your Word is a mighty fortress that shapes and molds my heart to be a reflection of Your righteousness. Jesus, I am powerless without You. I stand behind the shield of faith You have given me so that I can be protected by the assault of condemnation upon my soul. Let my heart align with Your will until every word proceeding from it pleases You, Lord. Let my soul unite with Your Spirit so that every action is designed to further Your Kingdom. I bring You my anxious thoughts, Lord. I lay each troubled wondering upon Your altar. Increase my trust because You are worthy. Under the Word given in Psalm 62:1-2 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.

Truly my soul finds rest in God;
