My Lord, let my slumbering heart awaken to the sweet call of grace. Usher the winter of my soul into the promise of spring warmth and summer delight. Wherever I have been lethargic in serving You, grant me a new energy far more constructive than anything I have known in the past. For only in the privacy of prayers of gratitude is my heart made merry. Only in the glow of Your presence is my soul renewed. I seek You where You may be found, Lord. I seek communion with the One whose hands mold me, whose sacrifice saves me, whose love upholds me. Thank You, Lord, for visiting Your servant in the tenderness of graceful affection that goes beyond worldly delight. Let my soul forever gaze upon eternal heights, never to be satisfied with anything less than pleasing my Lord. Your Spirit has revived me. Your newness of life has invigorated me. Your call entreats me to rise beyond the superficial circumstances of this world until I am falling into the depths of Your very heart. Quicken my senses in Your mercy, Lord until I am attuned to Your voice alone. Under the Word given in Psalm 37:4 and the authority of Christ, I pray whole-heartedly.
