Your grace astounds me, Lord God Almighty. Your power subdues all fear that lingers beneath the surface of my soul. The shackles of death have been broken. You have set me free from its grip and protected me from its sting. Let my heart rejoice in the deathless life purchased for me on the cross. Let my gaze remain steady and unmovable as the path stretches into the horizon of infinite glory. Only You can lead me where I need to go, Lord God. Only You know the way. Pour Your Spirit into me continuously, Lord. Lift me higher than this tainted, earthly perspective. My soul delights to delight You. My heart thrills to thrill You. Jesus, You have given wings to my faith through awareness of Your presence. You have brought me to the deep and replaced fear with the sweetness of abandonment to Your will. God, I bow before You in gratitude because You have removed the stench of death from those You love. Your mercy astounds me, my Savior. Your cross claims the victory. Under the Word given in 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

When the perishable puts on the imperishable,
