Lead me to make much of You in my life, Lord God. Review the application of my heart. See if there is anything lacking within me that would cause You displeasure. Make each step guided beneath Your will. Make each path lead me to the place of Your expectation. Teach me how to lay down the burdens that weigh heavily upon me. I delight in Your perpetual sustenance. I rejoice in the shaping of Your mighty hands. The richness of Your manifest presence fuels my faith. The purpose which is aligned with Your will tantalizes me with endurance for sojourning. Bring me beneath Your mission, God. Show me how to relinquish my selfish desire so that I do not fall into temptation’s snare. Supply me with Your grace. Uphold me with Your teaching until my faith is infused with constancy. I bow in grateful adoration for Your shield of love, Lord. I pray with my heart open in vulnerability before You. Under the Word given in Matthew 26:41 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.
