Lord, lead Your servant to the house of rest designed most especially for my soul. I take heart in the sweet solace of Your nearness. I delight in the melodious tune of worship which strums the chords of my heart in heavenly praise. Bring me into this space which You have prepared just for me. This place where the view is entirely heavenly and the rooms are filled with everything needed for godliness is where I belong. Let me come in naked vulnerability, exposing every scar and revealing the ugly wounds. For I know that You have clothing for me which will draw out the beauty of Your perfect design. I relish the forgiveness granted me for marring that which You chose to house me in for my sojourning upon the earth. I hope in the promise of the resurrection of this body to its original design, perfectly suited to glorify and worship the Maker whose mighty hands molded me into that which could carry out His will. Let the rest of the world melt around me while I search deep within to find that place where the key to the everlasting house of my soul is hidden in Christ. Bury me in Your Word, Lord God, until I emerge a new creation, a key-holder of eternity and a servant of the One whose hands formed that which only faith can truly see. Under the Word of God in John 14:2 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
