Lord Almighty, stir up my affections as only You can. Captivate my heart to the depths until I ache for eternity with You. God, my God, let my lips sing Your praises because You are holy and You are good. No weapon forged against me shall prevail because my Father in heaven shields me with love. No affliction can separate me from the relentless pursuit of my King. No famine can disquiet my soul because my hunger has been fully satisfied in Christ. No pressure can consume me because my Savior has redeemed my life. Lord, be near me now in this time of turmoil. You have dealt bountifully with me, Lord. Your salvation has opened my eyes to the wonders of grace. Let my mind be consumed in delight for Your truth because my heart adores to worship You. Take me to the green and luscious pastures of peace where Your love reigns, Jesus. Under the Word of truth in Isaiah 54:16-17 and the authority of Christ, I bow in adoring prayer.

Behold, I have created the smith
    who blows the fire of coals
    and produces a weapon for its purpose.
I have also created the ravager to destroy;
no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed,
    and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
    and their vindication from Me, declares the Lord.
